Our misspelling doesn't necessarily reflect upon our spelling knowledge -- some are due to typos or keyboard problems. Some typos are not typos at all -- just psoriasis spelled in various languages -- psoriase (Portugese), psoreasis (Swedish and Danish), psoriasi (Spanish), or psorisiache (Italian).

Soriasis: These people simply forgot the first letter. In my opinion they are being perfectly logical as the 'p' doesn't really belong there, phonetically speaking. Soriasis actually makes more sense if you don't know the etymology: Greek , itch, mange, from , to have the itch, from , itch.

Psorasis: These folks were in a hurry and left out the first 'i'. Anyway -- psorasis looks better than psoriasis in my opinion.

Psoraisis: This is how I misspell it. Could be the fingers don't listen to the head when typing or could be that the head doesn't know if the 'a' comes before the 'i'. Psoraisis also looks like a disease so that function is served well by this typo.

Psorisis: These guys were also in a hurry but left out the 'a' instead of the 'i' as above (see psorasis). If speed is of the essence then my vote goes to psorisis. Typing two 'i's is much faster that an 'a' and then an 'i'.
